I hired Brock on two separate occasions to first rebuild my deck and then construct a new front entry stair. In both cases, Brock listened closely to what I wanted done and how I envisioned the final appearance, then offered his recommendations for the most cost-effective and structurally sound build within my design. A detailed estimate then followed for each project with the cost and approximate time to complete the project. 

Leading up to the start of construction, Brock quickly communicated any anticipated changes to the timing and building materials and checked to make sure it still fit my budget and plan. The construction process itself was smooth and minimally disruptive, and Brock knows his stuff, so you can rest assured he uses the best building materials and practices.

We hired Building Brocks to build a large 3-story deck off the back of our house.  

Brock is a creative thinker and problem solver. It was easy to work with him and land on a good design for our decks.  He is honest about what he can and can't do and does a good job communicating the pros and cons of different design alternatives.  His drawings gave us a good understanding of what the final project would look like and gave us the confidence to move forward.  Brock also has a solid network of contractors and skilled laborers, making more complex jobs easy to get done.

During the building process, Brock followed through very well.  He was organized and communicative. He worked fast and did not leave the job site messy, making it easy to carry on with daily life.

We had Brock renovate a house that was uninhabited for over 15 years. The house was cluttered and in dire need of repair. Yet Brock was able to see its potential. At the same time, he was most interested in knowing what we wanted. He was always happy to answer questions.

Brock has done several home improvement projects for us including the creation of a half bath on the main floor of our 100-year-old home.  It fits so seamlessly into the existing room that everyone thinks it was always there.

We also had him redesign an outdated basement recreation room into a two-bedroom suite, totally update a kitchen to create better workflow and use of space, and he has also installed several new combination storm windows.
